Champagne Louise Marie Bennezon VIGNES

OUR VINEYARDS

Our House is based in the « Vallée de l’Ardre », in a village called Courville, located 30km from Reims and Epernay in the East of France, in Champagne. The village gave its name to the stone that was used by many buildings such as the cathedral of Reims, or the Abbey of St Rémi.

Our vineyard extends over different towns including Courville, Arcis Le Ponsart, Savigny, Damery, Tincourt. These five territories are based on soils dominated by clay and limestone that are expressed by different organoleptic notes, characterizing our champagne but also its taste, its appaerance, and of course its bubbles.

We cultivate the three traditional and reference Champagne grape varieties : pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay.

Pinot Noir gives the wine aromas of red fruits. It is the variety that brings to the assembly of the body and the strenght.

Pinot Meunier brings supple and fruity wines. It evolves more quickly in time and gives the wine sweetness.

Chardonnay is the grape of delicacy. Chardonnay wines are characterized by delicate aromas, floral notes, citrus, sometimes mineral.

Our House is certified Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and High Environmental Value. We are committed on a daily basis to:

  • preserve the biodiversity of landscapes
  • avoid agro-chemicals
  • reduce our carbon footprint.
